A year ago we were looking for childcare and daycare for our daughters and I came across the Early Childhood Learning\u00a0program at the Chandler\/Gilbert Family YMCA.<\/p>\n<p>A sense of community is what I appreciate about the Y. It means that my family can go somewhere to take swim lessons, have a safe place for my daughters to learn, and a place where I can go to improve myself. My daughters both attend the Early Learner&#8217;s program, I work out in the facility, and my daughter participates in Itty Bitty Sports and will be joining Fall Soccer. I recently competed in the Beat the Heat challenge and I surprised myself with what I could accomplish. Sports programs, exercise classes, swim lessons and being acknowledged every time I walk in is what I love about my Y.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I was always a Y kid as a child in California.
