Mike’s passion for training began as a youth when he was involved in such sports as wrestling, basketball, football, baseball and track. Mike still plays rugby on a local union team. Mike knows what it takes to get in shape and maintain that competitive edge.

Mike began working at the Legacy Foundation Chris-Town YMCA as a personal trainer. Mike does one on one training, small group training and boot camp classes. He is versed in new training innovations such as TRX, ViPR and Battling Ropes as well as more traditional training tools.

Theresa Faultner is a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) certified Personal Trainer. She is pursuing her Bachelors in Exercise and Wellness. Theresa’s interest in fitness really began when due to family health issues she started to research how exercise and fitness could help her family. Her passion for fitness grew from there.

Theresa enjoys helping others overcome the physical and mental obstacles to achieve their fitness goals.   Whether it is one on one or a small group session she will work with you to customize your workout to your abilities. She will use her expertise to increase your ability and change your work outs so you will be continually challenged.

Denice Okray is an American College of Exercise (ACE) Certified Professional Fitness Specialist. She holds an A.A.S. degree. Personal Trainer, Physical Fitness and Nutrition.

In both private and small group personal training sessions, Denice is knowledgeable with the physical and mental challenges of her older active adult cliental.

Whether it’s using new equipment such as the TRX, ViPRs, Battling Ropes and Foam rollers or more conventional equipment such as weights and machines , Denice will use her patience, understanding and gentle easy approach to guide you through effective and efficient use of your workout time.


Gwynne Olea

Gwynne Olea is an ACE certified personal trainer. As a youth, she was involved in tennis, softball, basketball and track. While attending the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Gwynne studied dance and music. After obtaining her degree, Gwynne served in the US Navy for three years. Seven years ago, she rediscovered her passion for dance here at the Chris-Town YMCA and started teaching Zumba classes. Since then, Gwynne has trained individuals of all ages and abilities.

Gwynne’s love for exercise has lead her to help others work towards their fitness goals. Whether it be one-on-one personal training, small group sessions or boot-camp classes, she can customize a workout based on the specific abilities and desires of the client.

Dan Gregg

Dan’s interest in sports and fitness came from his father who was football “legend” in high school and a weight-lifting instructor in the U.S. Navy during WW2. From grade school through high school and college, Dan participated in baseball, football, basketball, softball, track & field, boxing, wrestling and studied in the marital arts. He served 7 years in the military and is a Vietnam veteran. Formerly, Dan was a business entrepreneur, professional musician, a published songwriter, arranger, author, lecturer, teacher, educator, corporate trainer, realtor and a 2004 graduate of the Arizona Cowboy College.

Dan teaches 2 Group Power classes, 2 Group Active classes and a high-intensity, interval training class (HIIT) that also incorporates rudimentary kickboxing skills using a strike bag. As a veteran (and survivor) of military boot camps, Dan will also be conducting “Boot Camp” classes here at the Y. His main goal in the fitness world is to help people reach the highest level of health and fitness possible.

You can be certain that, working with Dan 1 on 1 in a small group, he can help you “over the hump” and get you to where you want to be!
