Meet the Instructors
Head Instructor Heather Karberg: Heather has been coaching in the cheer and dance industry for over 20 years. She started coaching at the preschool level and progressed through to the professional level where she directed the Arizona Cardi-nals Cheerleaders for 9 years. Today, Heather continues to work for United Spirit Association (USA) as a judge and competition director while helping with top local schools. She is also a fitness instructor and Volunteer Coordinator at the Desert Foothills YMCA. Lead instructor at Desert Willow Elementary.
Instructor Caitlin Ford: Caitlin is a junior at Cactus Shadows High School and has been dancing for fourteen years. Her dance background consists of ballet, hip-hop, jazz, tap, modern, contemporary, and lyrical. She is also a member of the Falcon Dance Company and the Varsity Pom/Dance Team at CSHS. She is currently a staff member in Amazing Kids Center and is extremely passionate about dance and teaching children. Class instructor for pom ages 5-8.
Instructor Marisa Scotto: Marisa is a junior at Cactus Shadows High School and has been dancing for seven years. She is currently dancing at studio Prima and her classes include acrobatic, cheer technique and ballet/jazz . She is a member of the CSHS dance team and is a staff member in the Amazing Kids Center. She wants the classes to be a fun experience. Class instructor for ballet/jazz ages 3-4.
Assistant Instructor Lauryn Putman: Lauryn is a senior at Pinnacle High School and has been dancing for fourteen years. Her background also includes middle school and high school cheer teams. Lauryn is currently a lifeguard and swim instructor, and would love to take her passion of ballet and teach it to the children.
