WELCOME TO ADVENTURE GUIDES!
Welcome to the beginning of new father/ child memories!
Let’s take some time to kick off our new program together & meet some new fathers & kids.
Moms, enjoy the night off!
It’s Family Bonding time with the Y’s new Adventure Guides. Adventure Guides is a Father-Child program where dad’s gather in local “circles” and have adventures with their kids. In Adventure Guides, parents* & their kids can reinforce their relationships, gain a sense of belonging and learn the importance of giving back to the community through activities with other families and community service projects. Camping, fishing, canoeing, hiking, service projects, leadership experiences and character building programs all culminate in the ultimate goal of Adventure Guides. We will also be going to Camp Sky Y in Prescott as a group for a weekend this fall!
Register now for our Adventure Guides Kick-off Party on Saturday, August 31st. We will be working on building our Yuma Adventure Guide Circle and planning out monthly activities for our group. What do you want to do in the Yuma area? Send us your ideas and we can plan out our year! We will also be learning Outdoor Survival Skills as our first theme in our Adventure Guide Program!
