At the Y we take education and leadership development seriously. We believe that all youth have great potential, and at the Y, we work everyday to help them set and achieve personal, and educational goals. Thousands of children and teens will build skills and confidence as they explore new interests and passions through Y. Leadership and academic enrichment programs, along with our dedicated efforts to close the academic achievement gap for low-income youth, ensure that every child has an opportunity to envision and pursue the best possible future.

Teen Leadership programs are a hallmark of the YMCA. We believe this is the age to join peers and experience opportunities to deepen your interests and understanding of the importance of becoming a leader. Set your sights on a valuable and meaningful life.

Offered at branches valley wide, the Leaders Club invites youth ages 13-18 to attend weekly meetings and quarterly gatherings. Participants must be committed to being a positive force in their communities, and engaging in activities that develop the spirit, mind and body. This FREE program is available throughout the academic school year.

This youth-led, youth-driven program focuses on five main components to provide youth with opportunities to develop their leadership skills:
