Please join us in Welcoming to the Maryvale YMCA our new Membership Director, Brenda Guerrero. Brenda grew up in sunny southern California. She moved to Phoenix, Arizona to focus on her schooling 2009. She began working at the Call Center when was finishing up her associates degree at Glendale Community College. She was promoted to oversee the Membership Department at Glendale/Peoria YMCA in 2014. Brenda and her team met their sales goal for consecutively for 10 months in a row. During her time at Glendale she lead many events like, Spend the Night at The Y for kids, Fall Festival, and many others. Brenda was moved to the Maryvale branch in early 2016 as Membership Director. She plans on helping that community with innovative ideas and helping to bring families together in a fitness wellness programs within the Y
Brenda has a love for glitter, leather bound books and heart shaped rocks. She loves spicy food in fact she keeps a bottle of Tapatio in my office. She also has 4 dogs (2 deaf) and drink about 5 cups of coffee a day.
