At the Northwest Valley Family YMCA, it is our goal to increase our impact by meeting our community’s needs. We need YOU to help us make a bigger difference.
Since opening our doors to the community in 2014, we have found a great opportunity in providing free or reduced-cost programs for children and adults with adaptive needs. These programs focus on building self-confidence and learning the importance of teamwork. We also plan to provide more than 30 children in the Northwest Valley with the ability to make lifelong friends at summer camp, and gain confidence through our drowning prevention programs.
Through our new Leaders’ Club, it is our goal to empower 20 local teens to learn the importance of social responsibility and service to others. Our Annual Support Campaign gives these individuals a place to learn, grow, and thrive. With your support, we can build confidence and develop tomorrow’s leaders right in our community.
With your support, we can also assist local families in need. We continue to meet these needs by offering affordable life-saving swim lessons and drowning prevention programs in the El Mirage area. Our campaign allows us to keep youth programs affordable for local families by providing reduced-cost programs like teen volunteerism, after school care, and mentoring.
The Y is a charity, dedicated to youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. With programs from A to Z—like athletics to advocacy, dance classes to disease prevention, volleyball to volunteerism—we don’t just strengthen individuals, we strengthen communities.
Every gift matters.
Everyone has a role to play.
Together, we can achieve so much more.
