After moving to Arizona about 6 years ago, the family was looking to be involved in their community and to have a place for family recreation. Upon their relationship with the Northwest Y, they fell on some financial hardships and had to cancel their membership for a brief amount of time until they heard about our Financial assistance program.<\/p>\n
Joe, Heather, Seth, Emma-Claire, and William were approved for a scholarship to help the membership costs fit within their budget. The family has expressed their thanks to the YMCA with their involvement in volunteerism and attendance at our family events.<\/p>\n
Joe Oliver, also known as “Coach Oliver,” spends many evenings here at the Y coaching Basketball and Volleyball for our youth teams.
