About Tempe Family YMCA

The Tempe Family YMCA is located in the heart of Tempe. It first opened its doors to the Tempe community in the Fall of 1987 with a 99-year lease from the city. In 1995, 11,000 feet were added onto the facility to add more amenities to accommodate its fast-growing city. It is a gathering place for the Tempe community. It has many senior classes, a heated pool, hot tub, full-size basketball gym, and a cycling studio, as well as locker rooms. It welcomes all ages and has activities for everyone. It is most known for its senior population, family fun, and childcare programs. The Tempe Family YMCA is proud to be a part of the community and the Valley of the Sun YMCA.
