What an amazing community the Northwest Valley YMCA is!
Since moving to Arizona in September with my family to become the Executive Director at the Northwest Valley YMCA, I continue to be impressed with what a welcoming community this is. I am excited about how much our Y is doing. From the addition of a Korean Swords class, itty bitty ballet, starting a partnership with Student Choice High School, to working with the city of El Mirage to offer swim lessons to 4th-grade students. We have been growing programs and strengthening the foundation of our community.
I am very excited about the bringing back the youth sports pledge at the start of every game and with that making sure that our sports programs teach our character values, Respect, Honesty, Caring and Responsibility.
Finally, I am most excited to announce for the first time our Northwest Valley YMCA will be offering a swim team this summer. Our team name is the Ninja Sharks. Looking forward to great summer season.
