"Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share a little bit about how the YMCA has affected my life. I started going to the YMCA when I was 8 years old. Over the last five years I have created lasting friendships and memories. My two younger sisters have also attended YMCA programs. We were able to enjoy the childcare and camp programs because of the help we received through YMCA scholarships. Without this assistance our mother would not have been able to afford this important part of my life. Although the YMCA has done many things for me, the memories that will always stay with me are our field trips to Amazing Jakes and Castles & Coasters. The YMCA has always made sure that we are safe and having a fun time. Another very important part of my time at the YMCA is the relationships that I created with Tracey Pappas and all the wonderful staff.
