2023 Goals

Y programs are committed to executing experiences rich in social/emotional learning because youth do better when they have supportive adults nurturing their potential.

In 2023, the Y will:

  • Provide youth with experiences to develop leadership skills, social skills and build confidence

Y programs provide experiences that build a sense of belonging and welcome young people to develop their self-identity.

In 2023, the Y will:

  • Train 5 youth to be camp leaders through the Counselor In Training program
  • Develop the next generation of leaders by helping them learn career-readiness and communication skills

Y programs support parents in creating stronger families to lower child poverty, reduce social-isolation, increase positive health outcomes, and increase family income.

In 2023, the Y will:

  • Bring families together for quality time in the woods at camp
  • Make the camp experience accessible to all
