The Valley of the Sun YMCA is a cause-driven nonprofit organization dedicated to providing affordable programs and services to benefit people of all incomes and backgrounds in our community. These Y programs and services help make children, adults, and families in our communities healthier and more connected in spirit, mind, and body.
Thanks to the generous support of those who donate to the Y’s Annual Community Support Campaign and other fundraising events, funding is available to those who cannot afford the full fee and qualify for assistance. Assistance is normally offered at a discount up to 65% of the full fee for memberships and most programs. We allocate many more dollars each year than we fundraise in order to support our community members to the best of our ability.
Eligible kids and families find the assets they need in YMCA programs like Membership, Youth Sports, Swim Lessons, Child Care, Parent-Child and Before/After School programs, Summer Camp, Teen Leadership, and so much more.
We encourage people to contact a local YMCA branch for application information. The process is simple and confidential. Funds for this purpose are provided by contributions to our Annual Community Support Campaign.
