Aaron Monte has been a member of the Ross Farnsworth-East Valley YMCA for over 6 years. His favorite pastime at the Y is swimming in the pool. Aaron began a challenge about 5 years ago to swim 1,000 miles. In October of 2015, he hit his goal and is still swimming strong. Congratulations Aaron in reaching your goal!
When we asked Aaron why the Y? He said, “It’s a great place to get my exercise while making friends”. He shared how he loves the friends he has made at the Ross Farnsworth-East Valley. When the pool closes at the end of the month, it’s not going to stop Aaron from his exercise routine. He is planning to expand his horizons and come join classes inside.
