School Services Partnership Program
As a leader in youth development, the Valley of the Sun YMCA partners with local school districts to fill gaps in programs and school services. We know that delivering an educational experience that serves the whole child comes with new challenges, and ensuring students reach educational milestones is our shared priority. As a thought leader and quality-rated provider of youth development experiences, the YMCA is a reliable and trustworthy partner across the state. With a focus on social-emotional learning and programming for the whole family, a partnership with the YMCA comes with the continual strategic support of your institution’s priorities. We are prepared to bring our highly-regarded programs to your schools, ensuring that each child receives nutritious meals, genuine attention from caring staff, and enrichment activities that promote a healthy spirit, mind, and body for all.
YMCA STAFF TRAINING & EXPERIENCE
When partnering with the YMCA, schools and families gain access to quality programming led by qualified and experienced staff. In addition to receiving training child abuse prevention and awareness training, each YMCA School Services (YSS) staff member is required to have or obtain a Level-I (Non-IVP) fingerprint clearance card, and maintain active certification for First Aid and CPR.
