Sam was an elementary school teacher when he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis 8 years ago, which had him walking with a cane and shopping in a wheel chair. A former trainer here at the Y had him work on his core and today he is walking on his own!

Being a member at the Y for the last year, Kimberly Kays and her family have greatly benefited from the programs and events that the Y has to offer. Kimberly, her husband Adrian, and their two children, Bridger and Edison, have found a second home at the Y.

Aaron Monte has been a member at the Ross Farnsworth East Valley YMCA and Mesa Family YMCA for many years. You’ll find Aaron out swimming laps every morning or participating in Aqua Fitness classes throughout the summer.

This month’s member spotlight is on Alex Dugum he was only here a year but made an impact on other members in that very short time.

Sarah and her family grow while coming to the Y, and it has been a joy to watch our Y family grow right along with it. We are thankful to have them, and the amazing friendships that they bring here with us!

Lachelle and her family, have been members here at the Y for 8 years. She demonstrates these qualities by always choosing to come to the gym, even considering she is 8 months pregnant. She still lets nothing get in the way of being active.

David was a Mesa Family Y member who transferred over to RFEV when they closed down.

Her kids are registered in our afterschool program, they absolutely love it and they look forward to coming every day. Georgina always has an upbeat spirit and always comes in with a smile on her face no matter how hard things have been or what she is going through. The start of this year has […]
